Sedum ‘Herbstfreude’, commonly known as Autumn Joy, popular perennial succulent that forms upright clumps of fleshy, blue-green leaves and produces large, flat-topped clusters of small star-shaped flowers. The flowers open in late summer, starting as pink and maturing to a rich, deep coppery-red by autumn. Autumn Joy is an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, and containers, offering interest from summer through fall.
