Citrus salt is a zesty seasoning for fish and vegetable dishes. It has a fresh, vibrant flavour that lifts everything it touches.
Add a pinch to sauces, soups and marinades for roast chicken. The fragrant, lemon-infused salt is a great match for fish and seafood. Scatter the flakes over firm fleshed fish like turbot and monkfish. Or, use it to season crispy squid.
Mill & Mortar sources their salt from Villena, Spain. The delicate flakes are harvested by hand and dried in the sun. The salt is then infused with oil obtained from sun-dried lemons.
Lemon thyme gives the salt an extra flavour boost. You can smell its citrusy aroma as soon as you open the tin. We like to sprinkle it over trays of roasted vegetables.
Store in an airtight container in a dark, dry place.
