So easy to slice, the dark red smooth skinned cylindrical roots reach approx. 10cm long and have good internal colour. This variety has a good bolt tolerance. Their low rate of metabolism allows for a relatively long postharvest life. Thanks to their high water content, they are key ingredients for a low fat diet. This wholefood is well suited for all cooking options: grilling, mashing, roasting, frying and even in soups. Don’t skimp on sunshine when growing them!
