This Tree Spike Hook allows you to keep food high up in a tree, which will help deter predators and keep the animals safe whilst they are feeding. It will also deter animals from stealing bird seed by making it higher to reach and more difficult for non-flying animals to access.
To install, simply bang the spike into a tree using a hammer or mallet firmly, give it a small tug to ensure that the installation is firm and can withstand the weight of the food and animals that are perched. Then hook the bird feeder through the loop. You can install this on any tree using this method.
The tree spike is delivered with a bare metal finish which will slowly weather over time, giving the product a rustic and aged look. As the product does not directly come into contact with the feed, it will not spoil the animal’s feed in any way.
